Benefits

A licensed holistic practitioner, ordained ecumenical minister, and hospital chaplain, Bernadette facilitates harmonious bearing, natural, non-invasive interventions and techniques to improve and maintain "wholeness" in the body, while restoring and strengthening balance on all levels of being.

Establishing an even flow of cooperative balance within and outside of the body, empowers you or strengthens you to find healing, resolution, repair, replenishment, release, renewal, reorganization, realignment, and refreshment – psychologically, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, in a safe continuous systems-supporting circulatory cycle.

HOLISM: "A state of caring for the "whole" as in an entire unit with no separating or divisive parts; attending to all levels of life and being; co-creating with a Divine Source, in restoring "wholeness" to and honoring all parts, people and conditions without regard to race, color, creed, philosophy, orientation, or religious tradition."

"An important element in all healing is "love." There is no comfort or relief that can be gained or provided without compassion. In my life’s work, the vehicle is found in agape, God’s unconditional love; or in the acknowledgment of a higher (universal) power, and the connection of being "one" in that power. Thus, all of humanity and all of creation, is naturally connected by and to this Oneness."

The transformative power of "love" is the healer of all social and common ills, and when engaged in this work, the healer in each individual is addressed and lifted up. Recognizing too, that "forgiveness" is an act of strength which cancels out personal suffering, and that the power unleashed behind it is both healing and liberating.

"Love never faileth"

I Corinthians. 13:8

Healing Touch and Reiki: Both are spiritual based modalities described visibly as "touch therapy" as in "laying on of hands," or energy-based therapies. The facilitator gently places their hands along or above the body, co-joined with a genuine intention to support the body’s natural inclination for healing and health; not necessarily curing. Although, numerous studies have shown that these treatments have a definite, positive physiological impact, and most often just the spiritual boost itself as facilitated through the applications and combined with the individual’s enhanced awareness, can precipitate a cure that is induced by a profound sense of "joy" resultant in the healing experience.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;

Where there is hatred, let me sow love;

Where there is injury, pardon;

Where there is doubt, faith;

Where there is despair, hope;

Where there is darkness, light;

Where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,

Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;

To be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love;

For it is in giving that we receive,

It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,

And is in dying to self, that we are born to eternal life.

(the prayer of St. Francis of Assisi)
